Discover: The Value of Learning Cohorts for Deeper and Sustained Learning

Cohort learning helps in:

  • building dialogue skills including constructive argument and giving and receiving feedback;

  • reflecting on and testing ideas with the benefit of diverse perspectives;

  • getting objective feedback from people with whom you have created a relationship of basic trust;

  • receiving mutual support;

  • receiving feedback and support in personal or group projects.

At its core is an analysis of assumptions about learning, the nature and purpose of dialogue, and how we can come to a more effective understanding and practice of leveraging real power as leaders and within groups.
